Exploring New Horizons

I've been in the league of social networking sites for quite some time but I find it a bit low and boring since all you can do is invite people you know (most of the time you don't), and stacking them up on your friends lists until you get hundreds or even thousands of them, all carefully chosen with good looking features filtered under a "no pimpled face" rule. On top of it all, you can't even get a chance to talk to these people since all of the members share the same purpose, to reach the highest number of friends, gather hypocritic praises, and post fake photos of them partying, splurging, and openly saying "they love starbucks" when the truth is they've only been there once or twice, just so to pretend that they belong to the elite members of the highest society and to prove that they can afford an expensive type of a coffee.

With all these basic repetitative non-sense, I realized that I had enough of it. Now is the time to show my inner geekness and explore new horizons, simply by putting up my own site, a blog. In this case I can freely share my views and thoughts on things that comes across my ficklish mind. And at the same time, interact with others more rather than just liking a status on facebook or sharing thoughts with only a 140 character limit on twitter. (I hope this is a good way to start this blog, backstabbing other sites to gain a little attention.)
